On December 13 and 14, the Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSION, carried out the most important event on investing in regions: PERÚ Regiones 2011. This event was attended by approx. 1300 people, among regional presidents, regional and municipal officers, and national and foreign investors willing to get to know the projects existing in all regions of the country.

In these two days, investment meetings between some promoters of the projects and potential investors. For this occasion, PROINVERSION prepared a publication with information on the five main projects of each Region.

Likewise, technical workshops about PPP and Law on Works for Tax were attended by the attendees to the event.

It is also worth mentioning that the President of Lima Region inaugurated the event, and the Minister of Production, Mr. Jose Urquizo, gave the welcome words. Furthermore, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Luis Miguel Castilla Rubio, closed the main Forum on the first day. The three representatives agreed on the importance of such an event that promotes investment opportunities in the country.
